Where are Canllefaes Cottages?

Canllefaes Cottages are at Canllefaes Ganol, Penparc, Cardigan, SA43 1SG — a family-run complex just 5 minutes from the market town of Cardigan, in beautiful Cardigan Bay, West Wales.

Are the cottages dog-friendly?

Yes. All seven of our luxury holiday cottages are dog-friendly, and there is an enclosed dog field on site so your dog can exercise safely off-lead.

Do the cottages have hot tubs?

Three of our cottages — Wheel, Pen-y-Bryn and Ty-coed — have private hot tubs with unrestricted access all year round.

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes. All guests have access to a heated outdoor swimming pool, open from the beginning of May until the end of September (dates may vary slightly with the weather).

How many people do the cottages sleep?

Our cottages sleep from 2 to 8 guests. For larger groups or family gatherings, you can book several cottages together across the complex.

What else is on site?

On site you'll find a games room, BBQ and outdoor seating areas, a children's play area and an enclosed dog field, all within our peaceful countryside setting.

Here at Canllefaes Cottages, we have a wide variety of facilities to make your stay a memorable one. Each guest will have access to a heated outdoor swimming pool from the beginning of May until the end of September (dates of pool opening may vary slightly according to the weather). There is also the option to book one of our three luxury cottages that have unrestricted access to private hot tubs all year round. With access to BBQs, outdoor seating areas, and a children’s play area, there is plenty of facilities onsite to satisfy your every need.

We are excited to announce our brand new games room, a fantastic place to unwind. Challenge your friends and family to a Pool or Air Hockey tournament…..get tactical with our Table Football…..find new adventures and revisit old favourites amongst our Classic Arcade games and shoot for the high score tables on our 2 pinball machines.

So much to see and do locally

In Cardigan Market town you will find a bustling high street in which an abundance of independent shops, Antique and craft sellers, artisan food shops, and cafes can be explored. A wide variety of bars and restaurants can be found that are sure to keep you well-fed and watered. Cardigan also has a cinema/theatre which is a great source of indoor entertainment. Cardigan Bay provides even more wonderful attractions including the many beautiful beaches nearby. In fact, you really are spoilt for choice! Sandy beaches at Mwnt, Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn, and Poppit are ideal for, Exploring, Sunbathing, Swimming, and walking the dog.

Wow! What a find. We have been coming to this part of Wales for many years and feel very lucky to have found Canllefaes Cottages. Our cottage was spacious and comfortable. The hot tub is immaculate but as the weather was close to 30 degrees … More most days (yes, in wales!) we didn’t make much use of it so the pool really was our saviour. The grounds were beautiful and the dog field was perfect for our young dog to socialise and do bits and bobs of training, when it wasn’t too hot although there was shade at all times of the day as there are very established trees everywhere on site, so welcome! Jamie and Claire really have made an incredible place here, they should be so proud. And Paul the manager; so helpful and kind. Thank you for a stunning week, see you soon! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😊

We stayed in pen y bryn for a week. Cannot fault this place. So clean and tidy. Very dog friendly with enclosed field. Pool was fabulous. Cottage so comfy. So much to do here with the games room, kids play area, table tennis etc. Bonus … More points for being able to leave our dog in cottage while we went for a swim Paul the site manager made us feel so welcome and was full of local knowledge which made our stay even more special. We will certainly be back
